Headbands of Hope: Brightening the Lives of Children with an Illness
About less than a month ago, I did something drastic that I thought I would never do.
I cut my hair.
I had been contemplating back and forth if i should go short, a trim, or medium. Finding a trusted hairstylist made me go al the way! However, I realized that instead of cutting my hair and be done, that I would donate my hair to a good cause. Otherwise, it would of been a waste of good hair! I’m so glad I made this decision. Not only was I ready for a fresh, new look, but I also felt great knowing my hair would be put to good use.
Something that I have been incorporating with my new hairstyle are headbands. I think they look cute and make my shorter hair seem more trendy and stylish. I had discovered Headbands of Hope almost 2 years ago, when I was going to attend New York Fashion Week. Headbands of Hope is unlike any other non-profit that I have seen, where they provide one headband to a child with an illness for every purchase. They also have a TON of styles. You can tell they truly care about their selections.
