I recently found out that my sister used Basic Invite for her wedding invitations! With that being said, I had to take a look at what Basic Invite is about.
As I browsed around, I saw everything that they have to offer for a variety of events and occasions. That's when I ran into Holiday Cards, and it occurred to me that I missed the opportunity this past year to get any holiday cards printed. This past Christmas, Ivan and I celebrated our first Christmas as Mr. & Mrs. in 2017. User Friendly Navigation
Basic Invite is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Despite all the options they have, it's simple to understand how to begin creating an invitation, or thank you card for your special occasion.
I picked this layout under Events > holiday cards to begin customizing our very own First Christmas as Mr. & Mrs. Theme!
Once you select a design you can change the text size, font, and color. With so many options, this helps in making sure you can create the card to look exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail.
Start by hovering over the text or photo, where it then allows you to edit or make your personalized changes.
Customized Cards
I had so much fun envisioning how our own "First Christmas as Mr. & Mrs." holiday card would look like! Once I hovered over the text and double clicked, I was able to make the changes and then hit the "checkmark" button to save. I love how I was able to make fonts bigger, or remove fonts to minimize the lines.
Variety of Styles, Colors, and Occasions
You'll notice when you change the font on the invitation, that it also updates the font under the color tone. I then only focused on the text that was still visible on the invitation. Basic Invite really gives you a TON of colors to choose from.
When clicking on any of these "circles", a tab will pop out which allows you to pick from any color! Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. This is very motivating for me to want to use Basic Invite again in the near future!
I personally love gold tones, greens, and reds for our holiday card. You can also personalize the back of the card as well!
Once I got the text the way I wanted, I focused on uploading the right photo. You will see on this pic below that I had played with several photos before choose the one we printed.

The experience and process to put together a holiday card using Basic Invite was very pleasant and fun! I can see why my sister also made her purchase with Basic Invite for her wedding coming up this August 2018! The final product for her wedding invitations were flawless, as well as our very own (and first!!!) holiday cards as Mr. & Mrs. These are very special and something we can treasure with friends and family.
