#Bossbabes: DFW Latina Blogger Meetup

September 15th was the start of celebrating my Mexican heritage with National Hispanic Heritage month. In honor of this celebration, I am so happy to share with you the women that I've met who are like-minded, smart, beautiful and share the same culture. Although we are all from different roots and represent different countries through our ancestry, one thing is for sure... we all love tacos!

Jk. Ok maybe not, I mean I don't know anyone who doesn't love tacos! That's besides the point though! teehee..

We all descend from the Latin culture and values. What I love most about this culture is we all come in different shapes, sizes, heights, and shades! I never knew how many other latina influencers were in the DFW area, doing the same thing that I am doing if not a little different (in a good way!). I often find myself attending different events and realizing much later, that I'm usually the only hispanic one in the bunch. Nothing wrong with that! As I love diversity and it's one of the reasons why I wanted to move to Dallas in the first place. I just wondered who else was out there that was kiiinda like me in a culture sense. Certainly I'm not the only one right? EXACTLY RIGHT! Through hashtags, and using keywords to search, I reached out to all of these women who you will find here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who are also bloggers in their own right!

So, what is National Hispanic Heritage month anyway? It is the period from September 15 to October 15 in the United States, when people recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the group's heritage and culture. (source)

Without further adue, meet my new girlfriends! (in no particular order by the way!)
