Fade to Blue: Peplum Top + Jeans

Happy Wednesday!

Is it me or is this week going by fast? I wonder if it has to do with Labor Day Weekend right around the corner!!!???

Let me tell you what I've been up to! If you haven't kept up with Instagram Stories (I seriously love that new feature), I have been MOVING! This past weekend that is all we did. Minus the quick getaway to the Brad Paisley Concert...OMG! SO much fun! Asides from that, little ole' skinny me was lifting, tossing, bending, kneeling, standing for hours, sweating, and carrying things that were heavier than me! OK so I was also whining and complaining, but how can you blame me when I was getting scratched, hit and bruised throughout the process!!! So lucky to have a fiance who is patient and puts up with my beechiness at times :p

Needless to say we got it all done and now the "fun" of unpacking begins. Overall, I am grateful that we upgraded and moved to a 2 bedroom plus I have my own garage. Woop woop! It's exciting for sure :)

Now that I got that out of the way, let's get down to the main topic. Last week I mentioned how Red is the color that looks good on everyone. If you missed that post, you can check it out here!

While that is true, peplum is a style that also looks great on everyone! I have yet to see someone look horrible. I just don't think that's possible. While I have not worn too much of the peplum style, I do adore this fade of blue and white hues! Which I got from Lou Lou Boutique in Dallas by the way ;-)

It's always great to have that one pair of jean that goes with everything! I find that this lighter wash jeans are a perfect in-between jean that you can dress up or dress down. Dark jeans are great but you can't play with them much and need to stick to certain colors. Same with a white wash. I got these about 2 years ago from Banana Republic. Certainly a great purchase!

Although I don't have many shoes in this color, I love how they made this whole outfit look very chic! If you ever buy white shoes, go with an off white color. They lean more towards the tan/nude color scheme which can be worn with anything!

Like what you see? Then shop the look!

Wishing you all a wonderful week and safe Labor Day Weekend!
