I'll admit, I do have feminine style (if you haven't noticed already). My version of feminine style are flirty pieces such as lace, flutter sleeves or trimming, loose and flowy tops, floral, sparkle, soft colors, bright colors in classy pieces, and low key prints such as stripes or polka dots. However, I like to change it up with edgy pieces such as fringe, leopard print, snake print, and most of all leather jackets during Fall/Winter seasons!
When I was younger, the version of mixing feminine and edgy would sometimes gear towards sexy. My version as a young 20 something (dang it feels like just yesterday!) of feminine and edgy pieces, was wearing tight faux fur styles such as a dress or mini skirt with a fitted floral top or a blouse with cut outs! That was then. Being able to maintain my feminine/edgy version now, to me, means mixing classy modern pieces with a twist of the opposite. My post is a perfect example of how a woman my age or above, should combine to achieve the feminine edgy look!
With this outfit, I am sending major girl vibes! At the same time, my style looks mature. It's the perfect way to look chic and stylish! How lovely does the floral scarf look against the faux fur black leather jacket?? You can definitely pull off this look too!
Wanna give this look a try? First, I started with this basic white tee and jeans. Dark jeans can be a bit too classic for me sometimes. For instance, I wear those to work for casual Fridays. There is no way I am going to go in distressed or faded jeans to work. For this look, dark jeans would of given this look a different vibe. I wanted a relaxed feel, so I went with the light wash jean. White tee + light wash jean = feminine style.
Next, grab for that leopard print scarf, fringe shoulder bag, snake skin clutch bag, or as shown here... your leather jacket! This is all the edge you need to put a cohesive feminine edgy look together.
I went ahead and added a floral scarf and light pink tote bag in a classic shape to add color to this over all look! So once again! Basic white tee, light washed jeans, leather jacket, black booties, and feminine accessories :) It's that simple when broken down.

What's your feminine edgy style? Wishing you all a great rest of the week!
P.S. This Sunday officially marks 3 months until I become Mrs.! Can't believe it & I can't wait! :)
