MUSTARD YELLOW | LEATHER AND FRINGE

Yay for Wednesday! I know it seems as if I am always counting down the days and the truth is...I AM! :-D I look forward to my evenings and weekends when I get to focus on all things fashion or just enjoy my down time. Whether that is getting together with a local blogger for coffee, planning out my calendar for the next collabs, or prepping for the next batch of photo-shoots! It's something I adore doing and I hope one day I get to focus more of my time on just that.

As for today's post it consists of leather, fringe and mustard yellow. I don't have this color much in my closet for the reason being that my skin tone is light complected. I feel that this color can sometimes blend in with my skin tone which is my reason for pairing it up with the following pieces.

First, look for a mustard yellow dress. Remember when I mentioned that I know I'm getting older because my skirts and dresses are getting longer? Well, this one is the exception. I love when dresses are flowly versus body hugging these days. Probably another clear sign that I'm aging :-P

Next, find that perfect leather vest. I found this leather moto vest on sale at Free People about a year ago and it was a great investment. I like how it gives some edge to this feminine style!

Let's stop here for a second and talk about accessories! I will admit that I gravitate a lot towards gold tone accessories. With mustard yellow, I find that gold tone accessories work best! Try layering gold tone necklaces, colored jeweled statement pieces, or chain style accessories to break up the neutral color.

Finally, top of your look with a gold shimmer clutch such as the envelope clutch from Dueces to Divas paired with tan fringe shoes! Through blogging I have realized that I really love fringe. What I love most about fringe is how it enhances any style from plain to rad!

So there you have it! All the elements you need to pull of this look; mustard yellow dress, leather moto jacket, gold accessories, gold handbag, and tan fringe shoes!
